(CN) - A woman says she slipped and fell on a "dirty and poorly maintained" stairway at the Los Angeles home of celebrity couple William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman.
     The "Fargo" actor and "Desperate Housewives" star "knew or should have known" that their stairway was dangerous, the woman claims in Los Angeles Superior Court.
     She says the stairway lacked "regulated handrails" and did not have "enough friction to supply good footing."
     The complaint, which alleges construction code violations, does not explain how the woman, named Lourdes Orozco, knows Macy and Huffman or why she was at their home.
     Orozco demands $25,000. She is represented by Rodney Mesriani and Tracy Neal-Lopez of Mesriani Law Group from Santa Monica, Calif.
