Max Gregory Warren, who performs as "Maxamillion" sued Wiz Khalifa, eleven music companies and two producers, accusing them of conspiring to steal his song "Pink N Yellow," which he recorded in 2007.
Khalifa heard Warren's song and "engaged in a scheme to defraud [him] out of the fruits of his copyright" with producers Mikkel Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen, the complaint states.
Warren claims Khalifa and PGH Sound now falsely call themselves the legal copyright holders of "Black and Yellow," even though they know they ripped off the song from him.
Warren's complaint in federal court in Philadelphia seeks $1 million in punitive damages and $75,000 in actual damages. He is represented by James Cosby.
