About Us

The Entertainment Law Digest offers national coverage of entertainment-related legal news. Acquired in 2005 by publisher Courthouse News Service, the Entertainment Law Digest is a legal monthly that reaches entertainment law firms and media companies in print and online formats.

The articles are written by experienced legal reporters located across the country, which allows them to draw content from lawsuits, rulings and filings in an extensive network of courts. Subscribers receive comprehensive coverage of a wide range of issues affecting the entertainment industry, including celebrity legal woes, publicity rights, copyright/trademark infringement, contract disputes, FCC regulations, settlements and industry executive shifts.

In addition to the core articles, the digest contains three recurring sections: Who’s Doing What, a compendium of the latest hirings, firings and promotions within the industry; In Brief, a summary of recent settlements, new regulations and other legal buzz; and the Featured Ruling, a full-text opinion relevant to the industry that’s chosen each month by the editor.

Subscriptions are $500, however you may qualify for Small firm or student discount rate for $250 per year. If you have any questions, please contact us at (909) 483-6165 or csage@courthousenews.com
